BRIEF:

Located in Wentworth Point, Le Velo Cafe combines a dining experience with a retail space/ workshop that caters for cycling enthusiasts. The brief given by the client required a new spatial plan that captures the waterfront view and creates a seamless connection to the outdoors whilst focusing on sustainable material selections, to be delivered in a full set of comprehensive documentation drawings.

 

CONCEPT:

The project was inspired by local street artists, with bold pops of colour and the existing industrial fabric to create an urban and unique environment that would cater to the local community and those passers-by visiting the nearby park – cyclists, joggers, walkers, families and young people - as well as locals stopping in to enjoy a meal..
